Shaun Markey combines his talent for storytelling with a life-long hobby of researching and collecting North American folk art to produce wonderfully readable tales. To create a book about collecting folk art, and Shaun turned to Sonderho Press for guidance.

As a professional journalist and media relations consultant, Shaun was already a confident writer. We provided copyediting and proofreading services to polish his content. We worked closely with him to create a unique and beautiful interior design and eye-catching book cover, and enhanced his own photographs, which appear throughout the book.

Shaun leveraged his media-relations skills and community contacts to rally support for a book launch and to secure local distributors while we took care of setting up online distribution. We’re excited to hear he’s got a second book in the works!
